In 1984 he earned an M.A. and in 1988 a Ph.D. in political science at the University of California, Berkeley〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://sites.google.com/site/donaldpgreen/cv-07-2011 )〕 for thesis titled ''Self-interest, public opinion, and mass political behavior''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Self-interest, public opinion, and mass political behavior / by Donald Philip Green. )〕 Green's career in academia began in 1989, when he became an assistant professor in the department of political science at Yale University. He was there until 2011, when he moved to Columbia University.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://sites.google.com/site/donaldpgreen/cv-07-2011 )〕 At Yale, he also served as the director of the Institution for Social and Policy Studies, Yale's center for interdisciplinary research in the social sciences and public policy, from 1996 to 2011. To date, Green has authored or coauthored four books and over 100 journal articles and book chapters. He was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2003 and was awarded the Heinz I. Eulau Award for best article published in the ''American Political Science Review'' during 2009.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://bitss.org/about/leadership/ )〕 In December 2014, Green and UCLA graduate student Michael LaCour published a highly publicized study, ''When contact changes minds'', on attitudes towards same-sex marriage, in ''Science''. In May 2015, however, Green requested that the article be withdrawn after his former students alleged misrepresentations and data "irregularities" in the paper. Yet, Donald Green, as senior author on the ''Science'' paper, certified that he had examined the raw/original data on his Science/AAAS Authorship Form and Statement of Conflicts of Interest.〔https://www.sciencemag.org/site/feature/contribinfo/prep/coi.pdf〕 The ''Science'' terms include, prominently, the following statement: "The senior author from each group is required to have examined the raw data their group has produced."〔http://retractionwatch.com/2015/06/18/if-you-think-its-rude-to-ask-to-look-at-your-co-authors-data-youre-not-doing-science-guest-post/〕 Green was named a 2015 Andrew Carnegie Fellow, for which he was to receive a $200,000 award to support his research, but the fellowship appears to have been rescinded.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://carnegie.org/news/grantee-news/andrew-carnegie-fellows-2015/ )〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Donald Green」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
